Seorang gadis kecil yang sedang melihat-lihat boneka juga tak luput dari ulah iseng ketiganya. Gadis kecil itu pun menjerit ketika boneka beruang itu hidup dan mengejarnya. Puas mengerjai orang di mini market, mereka juga mengerjai mobil yang sedang di parkir. Pemilik mobil heran minta ampun ketika mobilnya berpindah dengan sendirinya tanpa ada yang mengemudikan. Selanjutnya, mereka mengeksplorasi kekuatan yang mereka miliki dengan terbang ke berbagai penjuru kota. Mereka juga mengetahui sebuah rahasia yang menjadi tali penghubung antar mereka bertiga; jika hidung mereka mengeluarkan darah, berarti salah satu dari mereka bertiga berada dalam bahaya.

Kekompakan mereka mulai pecah ketika Andrew berlaku kurang ajar terhadap pengemudi yang tiap sebentar membunyikan klakson pada mereka di jalanan. Andrew melakukan gerakan melempar ke kanan, akibatnya, mobil itu jatuh masuk jurang. Matt dan Steve langsung bergerak menolong. Mimik tak setuju langsung tergambar di wajah keduanya dan mereka tak hentinya menyalahkan Andrew. Untung saja korban bisa diselamatkan. Sementara itu di rumahnya, Andrew dimaki-maki oleh ayahnya (Michael Kelly) karena hanya menghabiskan uangnya saja. Ayahnya ingin Andrew mencari uang untuk membeli obat bagi ibunya yang sakit. Tekanan itu membuat Andrew lepas kendali. Andrew terbang ke langit dan bermain-main dengan petir. A seaside Chesapeake Bay town nestled on Maryland's Eastern Shore thrives on water. When two researchers find a staggering level of toxicity in the water, they attempt to alert the mayor, but he refuses to create a panic. As a result, a deadly plague is unleashed, turning humans into hosts for a deadly, mutant breed of the parasite Cymothoa exigua.

The entire town is overwhelmed by chaos as these aggressive creatures start infecting the people one by one. This spins off into several stories. The most prominent is that of a young inexperienced news reporter and her cameraman, who are in town to report on the 4th of July festivities. She also explains the occurrences as the movie proceeds in an off-scene personal recording. The other stories include two oceanographers who first discovered the parasites, two on-duty police deputies investigating a residential area, a young unsuspecting couple taking a last swim, a teenage girl using FaceTime to send a desperate message to a friend, a doctor who informs the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention about the developing situation at the local hospital and, among others, a young married couple with an infant aboard a vessel who sail towards their family's home to reunite for the holidays, unaware of the horrific events unfolding on the mainland.

The movie opens with a hungover Josh (Xavier Samuel) being woken up by Rory (Richard Brancatisano). Rory tells Josh that he shouldn't have proposed to his sister, Tina (Sharni Vinson). Rory says Tina is at the beach, and that she has something for him. Josh sees Tina and she shows him a seahorse. Meanwhile, an old man is swimming out in the ocean and Rory, a lifeguard, is also out on the water. Another lifeguard on the watch tower sees the old man being eaten by a shark, but is unable to alert Rory. Josh quickly takes a jet ski and goes to get him; but before he can explain, a shark bursts through Rory's board and sends him flying into the water. Josh struggles to get Rory up onto the jet ski but the shark pulls him under and he is devoured.

A year later, Josh walks to the supermarket where he now works. As he gets there, 2 people in a car - Doyle (Julian McMahon) and Kirby (Dan Wyllie) - are discussing a robbery. They drive into the car park where Kyle (Lincoln Lewis) and Heather (Cariba Heine) are parked for a make-out session, with Heather's dog, Bully, sitting in the back seat. Meanwhile, in the supermarket, Jaime (Phoebe Tonkin) begins to shoplift and is subsequently chased by a security guard. She hides in the delivery room where she meets her boyfriend Ryan (Alex Russell). Ryan's boss Jessup (Adrian Pang) walks in with the security guard and tells Jaime he has called the police. He also fires Ryan.

On the floor, Josh is stocking shelves with Naomi (Alice Parkinson) when he sees Tina with her new best friend Steven (Qi Yuwu). Just as he's about to engage in a conversation with her, Jessup steps up and tells Josh to go clean himself up. Meanwhile, a police officer, Todd (Martin Sacks), arrives, and is revealed to be Jaime's dad.

Doyle and Kirby make an agreement about what happens after the robbery, and proceed into the supermarket. Doyle forces Jessup to open a safe, but it is empty. He then asks where the money is as they walk towards the cash registers. There, Todd stops him, but Kirby holds a gun to a woman's head.

Outside, Ryan walks over to Todd's car that Jaime is in and lets her out. While Jaime goes back into the supermarket to get her boyfriend his job back, Ryan walks back to his van to leave, but a flat battery keeps him from leaving.

Back in the supermarket, Josh hears a gunshot and runs through to the others. Kirby has shot the woman and is now holding Tina at gunpoint. Suddenly, a tsunami wave floods the supermarket, trapping Kyle, Heather and Ryan in the car park. The only survivors inside the supermarket are Tina, Josh, Doyle, Kyle, Heather, Steven, Jaime, Jessup, Kirby, Todd, Naomi and Neil (Nicholas McCallum). As they try to find a way out of the supermarket, Neil is killed by a 12 foot great white shark. Meanwhile, a second great white approaches Kyle and Heather, who are trapped in their car. A wire in the supermarket starts to spark so Steven turns off the electricity, but drowns after his success. The shark in the car park smashes Kyle's window, filling his car with water. Ryan, standing on top of wreckage, cuts off a dead woman's hand and puts it in the water, distracting the shark. Kyle and Heather swim to Ryan's van, but Kyle lets the dog go in order to save himself at the last minute.

The survivors in the store try to escape through a vent, but Jessup is bitten in half by the shark, attracted by crabs falling from the vent. Kirby gets knocked into the water, prompting Doyle to feed Jess's other half to the shark in order to save Kirby. Back in the car park, Ryan attempts to get back to his van using the pipes, but he falls in. Kyle saves him, but is knocked into the water and killed. Inside the supermarket, the remaining group make a plan to catch their shark. The plan fails due to the lack of live bait, so Kirby grabs a hook and puts it through Naomi's shirt, using her as bait. Before the shark can attack, Doyle stabs Kirby and saves Naomi, making Kirby the bait. With live bait, the survivors catch the shark successfully.

As the group in the supermarket make their way out and find Bully alive, Jaime hears Ryan banging on the pipes. She and Josh go to rescue Ryan and Heather from the car park, but are chased by the second shark to Todd's car. Josh grabs Tod's tazer and shotgun, jumps into the water and kills the shark with the shotgun. The four of them get back into the supermarket and are moving to the exit when a tremor strikes, breaking the first shark loose. Josh realizes he still has the taser, and uses it to kill the shark. Ryan, Josh, Todd, Jaime, Tina, Heather, Bully, Doyle and Naomi leave the supermarket, reaching the severely damage street. As the camera pans away from the characters and shows the devastation, it follows a seagull as it flies into view and out to sea, whereupon a shark jumps out of the water and swallows it.

Josh struggles to get Rory up onto the jet ski but the shark pulls him under and he is devoured.

A year later, Josh walks to the supermarket where he now works. As he gets there, 2 people in a car - Doyle (Julian McMahon) and Kirby (Dan Wyllie) - are discussing a robbery. They drive into the car park where Kyle (Lincoln Lewis) and Heather (Cariba Heine) are parked for a make-out session, with Heather's dog, Bully, sitting in the back seat. Meanwhile, in the supermarket, Jaime (Phoebe Tonkin) begins to shoplift and is subsequently chased by a security guard. She hides in the delivery room where she meets her boyfriend Ryan (Alex Russell). Ryan's boss Jessup (Adrian Pang) walks in with the security guard and tells Jaime he has called the police. He also fires Ryan.

On the floor, Josh is stocking shelves with Naomi (Alice Parkinson) when he sees Tina with her new best friend Steven (Qi Yuwu). Just as he's about to engage in a conversation with her, Jessup steps up and tells Josh to go clean himself up. Meanwhile, a police officer, Todd (Martin Sacks), arrives, and is revealed to be Jaime's dad.

Doyle and Kirby make an agreement about what happens after the robbery, and proceed into the supermarket. Doyle forces Jessup to open a safe, but it is empty. He then asks where the money is as they walk towards the cash registers. There, Todd stops him, but Kirby holds a gun to a woman's head.

Outside, Ryan walks over to Todd's car that Jaime is in and lets her out. While Jaime goes back into the supermarket to get her boyfriend his job back, Ryan walks back to his van to leave, but a flat battery keeps him from leaving.

Back in the supermarket, Josh hears a gunshot and runs through to the others. Kirby has shot the woman and is now holding Tina at gunpoint. Suddenly, a tsunami wave floods the supermarket, trapping Kyle, Heather and Ryan in the car park. The only survivors inside the supermarket are Tina, Josh, Doyle, Kyle, Heather, Steven, Jaime, Jessup, Kirby, Todd, Naomi and Neil (Nicholas McCallum). As they try to find a way out of the supermarket, Neil is killed by a 12 foot great white shark. Meanwhile, a second great white approaches Kyle and Heather, who are trapped in their car. A wire in the supermarket starts to spark so Steven turns off the electricity, but drowns after his success. The shark in the car park smashes Kyle's window, filling his car with water. Ryan, standing on top of wreckage, cuts off a dead woman's hand and puts it in the water, distracting the shark. Kyle and Heather swim to Ryan's van, but Kyle lets the dog go in order to save himself at the last minute.

The survivors in the store try to escape through a vent, but Jessup is bitten in half by the shark, attracted by crabs falling from the vent. Kirby gets knocked into the water, prompting Doyle to feed Jess's other half to the shark in order to save Kirby. Back in the car park, Ryan attempts to get back to his van using the pipes, but he falls in. Kyle saves him, but is knocked into the water and killed. Inside the supermarket, the remaining group make a plan to catch their shark. The plan fails due to the lack of live bait, so Kirby grabs a hook and puts it through Naomi's shirt, using her as bait. Before the shark can attack, Doyle stabs Kirby and saves Naomi, making Kirby the bait. With live bait, the survivors catch the shark successfully.

As the group in the supermarket make their way out and find Bully alive, Jaime hears Ryan banging on the pipes. She and Josh go to rescue Ryan and Heather from the car park, but are chased by the second shark to Todd's car. Josh grabs Tod's tazer and shotgun, jumps into the water and kills the shark with the shotgun. The four of them get back into the supermarket and are moving to the exit when a tremor strikes, breaking the first shark loose. Josh realizes he still has the taser, and uses it to kill the shark. Ryan, Josh, Todd, Jaime, Tina, Heather, Bully, Doyle and Naomi leave the supermarket, reaching the severely damage street. As the camera pans away from the characters and shows the devastation, it follows a seagull as it flies into view and out to sea, whereupon a shark jumps out of the water and swallows it.

Planet of the Apes is a 1968 American science fiction film directed by Franklin J. Schaffner, based on the 1963 French novel La Planète des singes by Pierre Boulle. The film stars Charlton Heston, Roddy McDowall, Maurice Evans, Kim Hunter and Linda Harrison. It was the first in a series of five films made between 1968 and 1973, all produced by Arthur P. Jacobs and released by 20th Century Fox.[2] The series was followed by a remake in 2001 and a reboot[3] in 2011.

The film tells the story of an astronaut crew who crash-land on a strange planet in the distant future. Although the planet appears desolate at first, the surviving crew members stumble upon a society in which apes have evolved into creatures with human-like intelligence and speech. The apes have assumed the role of the dominant species and humans are mute creatures wearing animal skins.

The script was originally written by Rod Serling but had many rewrites before eventually being made.[4] Directors J. Lee Thompson and Blake Edwards were approached, but the film's producer Arthur P. Jacobs, upon the advice of Charlton Heston, chose Franklin J. Schaffner to direct the film. Schaffner's changes included creating a more primitive ape society, instead of the more expensive idea of having futuristic buildings and advanced technology.[2] Filming took place between May–August 1967, mostly in California and Arizona, with the opening scene shot at Lake Powell, Utah. The film's budget was approximately $5,800,000.

The film was released on February 8, 1968, in the United States and was a commercial success, gaining $32,589,624 at the international box office. The film was groundbreaking for its prosthetic makeup techniques by artist John Chambers,[5][6] and was well received by critics and audiences, launching a film franchise,[7] including four sequels, as well as a short-lived television show, animated series, comic books, various merchandising, and eventually a remake in 2001 and a reboot in 2011. In particular, Roddy McDowall had a long-running relationship with the Apes series, appearing in four of the original five films (absent, apart from a brief voiceover, from the second film of the series, Beneath the Planet of the Apes, in which he was replaced by David Watson in the role of Cornelius), and also in the television series.

In 2001, Planet of the Apes was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as being "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant".
